Did you try to use a different mirror ?

Good catch. The online installer, and the latest Qt Creator that it provides, currently doesn't work properly on Ubuntu 18.04: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-26167
But this shouldn't cause the "connection closed" errors.

The screenshot shows that you are trying to install Qt 6.3.1. This cannot work on Ubuntu 18.04, as @hskoglund said.
Install Qt 5.15 instead. If you see errors about
sdktool
when you try to install Qt 5.15, you can click "Ignore".
