What benefit should I have using Qt under VS?
-
What do you mean by "only VS"?
-
Well, I don't know if I understood right, but Visual Studio doesn't have builtin Qt ;)
If you're talking about the "vs-addin":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/faq/answer/what_is_the_qt_visual_studio_add-in, the only benefit to use it is if you're used to VS interface and want to keep using it. Otherwise, the usual Qt SDK works fine.
-
Or are you talking about using Qt on Windows, in Visual Studio, as opposed to the libraries and tools that Microsoft ships? This would open a huge can of worms, but some things I can immediately think of are more consistent, powerful API, code will compile on other platforms such as Linux, OSX, Symbian, with little or no modification.

you can check out visual studio express, it should be free

I don't think that free VS express cooperates with WM65 SDK.
Qt under VS express can? -
The answer is that M$ does NOT permit it.
