https://code.qt.io/cgit/pyside/pyside-setup.git/tree/dist/changes-5.14.0But the docs of uic/rcc in 5.14 don't list any option to select the generator
https://doc.qt.io/qt-5.14/uic.html , https://doc.qt.io/qt-5.14/rcc.htmlThe docs of uic/rcc in 5.15 list the option
-g
https://doc.qt.io/qt-5.15/uic.html , https://doc.qt.io/qt-5.15/rcc.htmlI am using 5.15 but i need these information about 5.14 for the manual.

The manual for the application I am currently working on.
Is the following correct?--
The resource collection files are converted to Python modules by using the resource compiler rcc:
Qt 5.14 and newer:
rcc -g python icons.qrc -o icons_rc.py
rcc -g python translations.qrc -o translations_rc.py
Qt 5.13 and older:
pyside2-rcc icons.qrc -o icons_rc.py
pyside2-rcc translations.qrc -o translations_rc.py

That looks good yes.
Bugs happen with the documentation as well so as long as your instructions work for the versions you mention then you are good to go. -
