Install QT Creator with QT version 4.6

Hi All,

We need to use QT 4.6 with c++ at our university, is there an easy way to install this on a macOS Big Sur Version 11.1? I see the versions available are 5+.

@Zach-West Check download.qt.io/archive/ as soon as it is working (there are server issues ongoing).

Hi and welcome to devnet,

Beside the point made by @jsulm, Qt 4.6 is way more that outdated so will likely run into trouble to make it run out of the box on Big Sure. Be prepared to build it yourself and patch the hell out of it.

I've been trying to install Qt Creator for several days, but I still can't do it :(
Do you have mirror links to advise me to install the latest version.
Because currently I had to install an old offline version which is buggy on macOS.

@SGaist Thanks, the university clearly just pushes the same module without ever updating it. Will be taking this further with the uni.
