guess what?!

  • You guys are never going to believe this...I'm starting a new job next month, and the primary reason I was hired was my Qt experience!

I'm really looking forward to this...and you all can count on lots more questions from me in the near future...

  • Lifetime Qt Champion

    Congratulations ! :-)

  • Moderators

@mzimmers Congrats! Your efforts have clearly paid off.

May I ask what kind of job it is?

We look forward to both new questions and answers from you in the future ;-)

  • The initial job is working on a built-in UI for a medical product. It's an American company, but they're building this product for a French concern, and evidently the European powers-that-be influenced the choice of Qt for the UI. Areas I need to learn more about include (lightweight) animation and QML.

Still not much call for Qt programmers here in the US, but I think it might be starting to grow a bit.
