Qt MaintenanceTool not starting, Ubuntu 20.04

As the topic suggests, I am having troubles starting the Qt Maintenance tool.
When executing ~/dev/Qt$ ./MaintenanceTool I receive the following message:
"No marker found, stopped after 0.00 bytes."
From searching the web, I am lead to believe that this has to do with the file Maintenance.dat, which in my case is empty.
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem, and if so, is there an easy solution?
@nesavi I would try to rename Maintenance.dat and see what happens.
