PEP warnings not displaying for .pyw files

Hi,
I am using the QT creator for python and I have an issue with the .pyw files.
For these files the PEP warnings do not display (e.g. E501 Line too long 81 > 79)
For .py files these warnings are shown.Is there any way to setup QT creator to check and show these warnings for .pyw files also ?
