QT Serial Port not working after Upgrading to Android 10

Hello,
I recently upgraded my app from sdk25 & ndk13 to sdk29 and ndk20 (and changed from QT 5.6 to QT 5.14.1). My code using QT Serial Port isn't working anymore. Is anyone else using QT Serial Port with Android 10? Was there anything you special you needed to do to get it working, I know QT Serial Port is only partially support for android, but my old sdk 25 app will run and use the serial port on my android 10 device so I feel like it should be possible to make it work.
Any help would be fantastic!
