I followed this description how to add QT Installations.
      https://doc.qt.io/qtcreator/creator-project-qmake.html

      I added path manually "/Applications/Qt/"
But still QT kits do not appear in the UI.

      Qt Creator 4.12.1
Based on Qt 5.14.2 (Clang 10.0 (Apple), 64 bit)
      Built on May 19 2020 01:15:58

What did you install exactly ?
Where did you install it ?

I installed with Maintenance tool QT 5.12.6 and 5.15.0.
I installed manually QT Creator Version 4.12.1 (from this Link: https://www.qt.io/offline-installers)
After launch not a single kit was recognized.

Why are you installing Qt Creator independently since it's installed along Qt when using either the online or offline installer ?

I did separately, because the maintenance tool never updated QT Creator ....

Might be a silly question but did you run the Maintenance Tool in update components mode ?

Yes i did. I will try today a complete fresh installation.
I am on Mac OS X Mojave - Are there any "Preference files" I should delete?
