    Hi all -

I've had this issue in the past, but it was always just an annoyance. Now, I'd like to address it.

I've installed Qt 5.14.2, but when I launch Creator, it doesn't automatically detect it. The installation folder is C:\Qt\5.14.2. Creator does detect a previously installed version, 5.14.1, which is in C:\Qt\Qt5.14.1.

Any idea what's going on here? Thanks...

Just add it manually. Go to "Qt versions" and add an entry. Point Creator to the qmake binary and that's all.

@kshegunov I know I can do that, but I'm really curious why I need to. It makes me wonder whether I have something wrong with my Qt installation.

I assume the detection is based on what you have in your %%PATH%%, so if the qmake isn't there it wouldn't be detected. In any case I'd opt for manual config any day to yet another something polluting my path.

Due to other problems, I wiped out my Qt installation and re-installed. It now sees 5.14.2. I do believe I managed to get something screwed up in my Qt directory. Anyway, this problem went away.

            Thanks for looking...
