Why is it so difficult to allow selecting download mirrors

I see these kind of messages for the past 5 years. This is the only tool with such problems. Ever thought about getting rid of these faulty mirrors? Or at least giving the option to change a mirror like every other open source platform??

@hanch You can see that there are several bugs reported: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTIFW-1164?jql=text ~ "select mirror"
I agree this is an issue and should be fixed.
Though this forum is the wrong place to ask for features/bug fixes as it is a user forum. Use the Qt bug tracker or ask on Qt developers mailing list.
