As the title, any idea to get the thumbnail for a image on symbian3 Qt device.

I don't think there is a Qt API for that. But you can do it with native APIs (see for example http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/TSS000626_-_How_to_retrieve_image_thumbnails_on_S60_3rd_Edition)
