During installation of QT I've got an issue from installer which is unable to get the file 4.10.0-0wininterrupt64.7z.
Looking at the log of Bitdefender I can see that 4.10.0-0wininterrupt64.7 contains a malware:

    Malware rilevato: Gen:Suspicious.Cloud.1.hy0@auJrdUbi

    ftp.fau.de/qtproject/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/desktop/tools_qtcreator/qt.tools.qtcreator/4.10.0-0wininterrupt64.7z

So it remove automatically downloaded file and installer is unable to extract/or/check the hast contents to move to next file to download.

I've infomed Qt Company about this a week ago, but received no reply yet. Most probably it is a false positive, but I don't know for sure.

And just to add to @sierdzio: the mailing list thread is here: https://lists.qt-project.org/pipermail/qt-creator/2019-September/008131.html

Qt has to stay free or it will die.

Unfortunately I've a BitDefender EndPoint license which mean that Enable/Disable of services are delegated to external manager.
          I can't disable it...

@shineworld well, there's always compiling from source 😉

@J-Hilk Another fast solution for QT is report to AV producers that they notiice a false positive sending file with SHA. I've already do with our packages.
