    How would I configure my .pro file so that it will link to a .dll when I build for Windows but link to a .so when I build for Linux?

    Also, are there #ifdefs I can use in my source files that will allow me to write platform specific code?

      Regarding #ifdef: use DEFINES variable (shown in the same link)
