Hi, I'm starting adding a lot of assert() calls in my code for all the good reasons you know, but in the end they disturb a bit when you look at the code.
What about adding them as a custom element in the syntax highlighting? Something like a color lighter than the rest of the code, for example.
    Bye and thanks

@m.alessandrini You could file a change request for QtCreator

@jsulm Thanks, I just did it.
It's always a problem for me to find the right place to discuss Qt things, it's like there are 2-3 different places with similar purpose.

@m.alessandrini Well, here we are in a forum for users not for people who actually develop Qt or QtCreator (though if you're lucky some of them could be reading here). So, if you want to contact such developers to file a bug or change request then this place is wrong and you need to go to Qt/QtCreator bug tracker.
The purpose of this forum is to ask questions related to usage of Qt/QtCreator.

            https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-22060

Qt has to stay free or it will die.
