Hello guys!
Very happy to find the first voices on N9 and Qt for meego! Dos anyone knows if the actual version is really useful to develop applications or not yet? I should prepare a simple but for N9 only demo application.

The latest Nokia SDK 1.1.2 can be used develop for N9. If you are a Qt- ambassador or a Nokia launch pad member, you may apply for getting N950 - the developer version of N9. Lucky few will get the Kit.

I have saw this, and I have already asked for the kit (I am a launchpad memeber). I have also explained that I am developing for a big customer that is in direct contact with nokia... Hope well ;)

you could try out the Meego 1.2 Harmattan emulator. It looks like the real device.
i posted some screen shots in this topic :

Nice! I installed the offline installer on a windows 7 machine but I don't see in the emulator the N9. Now I am installing it on a ubuntu linux machine, ope that it works like for maemo with the emulator. I searched for the custom installation but I haven't seen any shade of the emulator... Now I search in-depth.

ok, I tried on ubuntu but the only emulator that I see has the well-know devices. No any N9emulator. Should it be installed apart ?

Found ! As a matter of fact it is QEMU, that reports in the menu "maemo emulator"but starts N9. Thanks for the suggestions.

Glad you found it!
I was off for some hours but if you have specific questions about the emulator, don't hesitate to ask. I can try out things if you want.
I used the offline installer > custom > harmattan to install on windows 7 64bit.
There is a doc explaining how it works. Just search for harmattan and you get all the directions you need.
Have fun and let us know how it goes with your project.
Cheers,
Eddy

Hi,
I am trying some ideas but at the moment are only silly tests. As I have a bit more I will post. At the actual date, as I know there are not examples for N9 but you can start trying to see running a piece of "old" code in a page on N9 then when you see that it works start to change something to adapt it.
If you need help don't hexitate to ask.Cheers.
