    I have a 10 Mbps download speed but my I'm only getting around 10-30 KBps down when using the online installer.

    I used a closer (same continent) mirror repository but the speed isn't getting any higher.
    I tried downloading files directly from the mirror using a web browser and the speeds are actually higher than the download speed of the online installer so it can't be because that the mirror is slow.

    The repo: mirror repository 1

    I also tried another repository which isn't from my continent but is just as fast.
    Repo: mirror repository 2

    Sample direct download from the first repo (same continent):

    Downloading the offline installer directly from a web browser is faster than using the online installer but I don't want to use it since I can't update it to a newer version without uninstalling it.

    How can I fix this issue?

          @gghavoc
          very strange, there were some changes recently to the installer, and I could have imagined something going wrong during the update process, but a limited download speed from the installer directly from the download page should not be the case.

          Maybe try to download the installer again?

            @J-Hilk I already downloaded the online installer like five times, though. I did try updating stuff using the maintenance tool in my linux distro using the same mirrors and the speeds are pretty fast.

            @joantoh Which one do I download? The offline-installer?

                You likely got assigned a slow mirror.

                Select a different mirror: https://wiki.qt.io/Online_Installer_4.x#Selecting_a_mirror_for_opensource

                    I believe you have to select a different mirror till you get a "good" one, what else is there to say?
                    I believe the UI does not try alternatives for you, you need to use the command line to specify mirror?

                      Btw: It is not "still not resolved"... it happens again from time to time.
                      Just because you found a topic from 5 years ago where this was mentioned, it doesn't mean that this issue persists since then.
