    I am working on an Application in that application i am fetching data from firebase, during that time, I am facing this issue
    QSslSocket: cannot resolve EVP_PKEY_base_id
    QSslSocket: cannot resolve SSL_get_peer_certificate
    QSslSocket: cannot call unresolved function SSL_get_peer_certificate
    Request finished with status: QNetworkReply::SslHandshakeFailedError
    Error: "SSL handshake failed"

    Qt version - 5.15.2

      Which version of OpenSSL are you using? Make sure you have the correct version of OpenSSL installed on your system.

          Replying 7 months later is quite a delay!
          Try Googling for your error messages.
          Maybe something like https://forum.qt.io/post/753957 will help.
          Make sure you really are using OpenSSL 1 and not 3, as newer versions of Ubuntu (I don't know why you don't say which version you are using) apparently come with OpenSSL 3.

            @JonB before i faced this issue but same issue i am facing in 1.1.1 version openssl,why because i am using qt creator 5.15.2 version , for this it supports1.1.1 openssl version.that is why i did not raise new question.

              Hi,

              The version of Qt Creator (and the Qt it was built with) has nothing to do with the Qt version you are currently using.

              Note that if you use a recent version of a Linux distribution you will likely get a more recent version of Qt 5.15 so you would be better off using that one to develop your application.
