Yocto Build copying file from somewhere unknown

My Yocto build is copying an executable from somewhere unknown.
Its not from github as there are no executables in my repository.
I've searched for hours on end on the machine the build is being run on, none of the executables found are identical to the one being copied.
The executable is not being created, because it's date last modified is 14th March 2023.
This is happening on a VM running Ubuntu.
