Hi folks,
If memory serves well there were some changes done to the server configuration that should alleviate the situation. One other alternative is to try with a different mirror.

15 hour(s) to complete download, then terminated and didn't install it. It must be not normal!

Ok, it seems I solved. For those who use VPN services select Finland as VPN mirror area and try again. In my case the speed has dramatically increased up to 9MB/s and I did download in less than half an hour, which is more than reasonable.

@Ettore How do you select a mirror in the installer? Or are you talking about selecting a different server in your VPN app?

@YogeshR Open a command prompt in the directory of the installer .exe and type:
qt-unified-windows-x64-4.6.0-online.exe --mirror https://qt.mirror.constant.com/or use 1 of the other mirrors at:
https://download.qt.io/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/root/qt/Updates.xml.mirrorlist
Only use the first part of the mirror link before online/
