Installation from this IP address is not allowed

I'm trying to update Qt Creator and getting this message "Installation from this IP address is not allowed".
What does it mean? There's no clarification. -
Hi @Endorphine13, see this post from an earlier thread:
@AndyS said in Unlock qt in Russia:
This happens because the IP is detected to be in a country where we are not allowing downloads.
If you have paid for the license, then if you have not been contacted already then someone should be getting in touch with you very soon about this. Alternatively you can reach out to your contact in Qt Sales or DM me and I will get someone to get in touch.

@Rerium said in Installation from this IP address is not allowed:
but is it open source
Yes, it is open source. Note that the source is still open to you.
maybe you are a fan of Hitler?
No, I'm not. None of my posts could possibly suggest that.

Probably this means all guys shoud migrate on AvaloniaUI plus dotnet standard c++/cli. QT is not allowed in Russia anymore, use GNU, Microsoft opensource c++ platforms. Moreower, up to 2025 all non-Russian OS and soft will be forbidden in Russia govement sites. Look free software fron GNU and opensource from Microsoft under Russian clones of GNU/( Linux | Hurd | Solaris | FreeBSD | Elbrus | Baikal ).

Today, I was trying to get access to the Qt Development tools for the programming champ. I spent 2 hours of my life trying to download your "Open source software". "Installation from this ip address is not allowed" - why this affected me?
Because I'm Russian? Because I have bad blood? Oh, yeah, maybe my skull have wrong sizes? Policy of companies or even countries showed us that the isolation way of solving problem is not so good. I don't want to discuss policy. I was only wanted to develop software. SJW doesn't interest me too (Hi, rainbow Rust). I need to use assembler, or maybe I need to become the blackhat hacker?I was created this account only for downloading the Qt tools. Only for creating software. You are big company, while I am just a student. I can't sue you, but I really want - trust me. Russian government suppress the VPN services. ProtonVPN (I use their mail) is not working too. I'm between the hammer and the anvil. Do I need to sparkle by impact?
Maybe you were forced to do that by your "democrat" regime. I don't know, but since that moment, I need to exclude Qt from my pet project and life.

It typically means that the IP address you are using to download and install Qt Creator has been blocked or restricted by the website or server.
