UI slows down by "qt.qpa.fonts:" Problem

Since update to Qt Version 15.8 I get this error message and the UI slows down ...

when I open dialog with a plainTextEdit
when set some text in this widget

"qt.qpa.fonts: Populating font family aliases took 1309 ms. Replace uses of missing font family "Verdana" with one that exists to avoid this cost. "

Verdana is on board installed - How to overcome this issue?

I did, I reopend the old bug and got approval that this is also the case in Version 6

Hi,

If it's 5.15.8 then you should contact the Qt Company directly as this is currently a commercial only release.

@SGaist thx for your response e- I did this already - but qt did not responded yet. hence this is why I am looking for a solution here. Seems like it is a returned Bug ....

If memory serves well, there was a bug report about something similar not so long ago. Did you already search the bug report system ?
