I am trying to install QT 5.7.0 on CentOS-6.8.I have these files in QT 5.7.0
I open the CentOS terminal in QT folder and run the following command

Installation stops at this error
qt-everywhere-opensource-src-5.7.0/qtbase/configure: line 3494: g++: command not found Creating qmake... gmake: g++: Command not found gmake: *** [project.o] Error 127
After that i tried to install the following version of gcc-c++ shown in image
But they are giving me following error for gcc-c++-ppc64-linux-gnu-4.8.5-16.el7.1.aarch64.rpm

@getche I'm not sure you can compile Qt 5.7 using GCC v4.7.
Do you really have to use such an old CentOS version?Please tell me which Version of QT(Designer) will install on CentOS-6.8 ? And please provide me its download link ?

@getche Here some links which can be helpful:
https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/linux.html
https://doc.qt.io/archives/qt-5.7/linux.htmlYou first should solve your current problem: install the g++ compiler. I don't know why you get this error message, something to ask CentOS community. Did you try like this:
yum install gcc-c++
?

@jsulm it is giving following error on running the command (please note my PC is offline and without internet)
#yum install gcc-c++

Well, then you will have to use some local storage containing the CentOS packages (like DVDs)...

Kindly tell me which CentOS packages need to be downloaded and installed ?
I can't, because I don't know all the dependencies between the packages you need. This is not a Qt problem.
That's why the easiest way is to use a local package repository (like DVDs or what ever). -
