Unsolved QT VS tools 2019 - Unable to specify qmake.exe path
-
Maybe I'm missing something but it feels I've tried everything to the extent of my knowledge. I've been trying to add qmake.exe via Vs tools, Qt version, but it looks like the path isn't valid. Tried installing prior versions of Vs tools, and of Visual Studio to no success. Any help would be appreciated.

In what way? What happens exactly if you try to add the path? And how do you select the path?

I go through Extension > Qt Vs Tool > Qt Versions then version add new Qt Version. I've included a picture.
The red sign tells me the path isn't valid, but qmake is in the specified folder, and when I click Ok, the version isn't saved.

@_iterates I never used Qt Vs Tools, but in QtCreator <ou have to specify the while path to qmake.exe, including file name. Maybe it is same in Qt Vs Tools?
