I have QtCreator 4.15.2 and p4v-2021.2.2138880 installed. QtCreator does not load the perforce menu for the project and when I do a test on the Version Control on Options, it is stuck in "Testing...". QtCreator 4.0.3 works. Anything from that till 4.15.2 does not work and exhibits the same behavior.

    I am on Ubuntu 20.04

From here, "Since Qt Creator 4.9, the Perforce plugin is disabled by default. To enable it, select Help > About Plugins > Version Control > Perforce. Then select Restart Now to restart Qt Creator and load the plugin."

      Done that?

Yes. I did restart. Otherwise the perforce tab under options would not have appeared.

          Hi,

Did you try to start Qt Creator from the command line to see if there's some related logs generated ?

What if you start it with QT_LOGGING_RULES="*.*=true" set ?
