    Hello,

I'm sorry if this is a newbie question, but I have been trying for many hours with unsuccessful attempts. In the Qt program, when I try to create a Qt widgets application, I go through the steps, but then when I get to kits, it says "No suitable kits found".
    [screenshot]

I have tried installing mingw64, but atlas that did not work. I have tried using QT inside a linux virtualbox, but I couldn't get that to work. Any help is appreciated.

@polarIce If you want to use MinGW then you should install it via Qt installer or Qt Maintenance Tool, also install Qt for MinGW. So, open Qt Maintenance Tool, select Qt for MinGW and make sure latest MinGW version is selected under Tools.

          How exactly?
Do you have any warnings/errors in that Kit?

@polarIce As you can see there is no Qt version set in that Kit. If you already installed Qt for MinGW then set it manually in this Kit, else install Qt for MinGW first.

In the same way you installed MinGW in Qt Maintenance Tool...
