Do you know which IDE I should be using. I have seen YouTube videos and people are getting code completion so was wondering what is problem with my setup.

I used PyCharm with PyQt5/PySide2. Excellent Python editor, but it won't be integrated if you want to use the Designer part of Qt Creator to design the UI forms. Doesn't mean you can't use it, but it will be separate from PyCharm.

and if you're looking for really intelligent code completion, tabnine is your friend, extensions available for PyCharm and VSCode etc. (just be aware that it sometimes suggests wrong completions, but it really speeds up the coding)
