    Hello

    Is it possible to configure Qt Creator to open projects in seperate instances, like Visual Studio and other IDEs do?

    I mean suppose I have one project open, then I open a second from Windows (.pro file), I would like it to open in a new Qt Creator window instead of sharing the same one.

    Thanks

      @karpouzi you can manually start a new QtCreator instance and open you new project there. But I don't know if you can force a new instance simply by clicking on a *.pro file.

      You would have to check the source code of QtC, I assume

        @karpouzi I don't know whether you can do it while opening a project, but you can open a second QtCreator instance and open the project there.

          @karpouzi
          Under Linux at least, double-clicking on a .pro already does open a separate Creator instance?

            Thanks for the responses. I guess the answer is no, but it would be nice to have as a feature request.
