about setting up msvc 17 for windows

Hi
Im using QWebEngine module so im forced to use Msvc 2015 or 2017 on Windows...This is the first time i try this module on Windows, previously used Linux with Gcc with no problem so I'm in a blanc state...
What is the correct procedure to install it? I know msvc is detected by qt creator, but still don't know what to install before qt creator, do i need to install whole ms visual studio ide? If not, what do i need to install fist?
