Unsolved showFullScreen() doesn't works on ubuntu
-
Hello!
I have an application that runs fullscreen. When I execute it in the terminal,
./myApp
it doesn't show it in fullscreen but, if I execute it with sudo,
sudo ./myApp
it works in fullscreen.
How can I execute it in fullscreen always?
Thank you very much!

@ivanicy How does your app switch to full screen?

When I execute it without "sudo" ubunto shows the toolbar. When I execute it with "sudo", ubuntu doesn't show the toolbar. I show all app windows with "showFullScreen()".

@ivanicy It works for me on Xubuntu 18.04 with and without sudo

My suggestion: Google around for whatever desktop you are using (GNOME? Unity? Other?), it may have a setting preventing apps fullscreen-ing unlesssudo
?
