Unsolved Error during uninstalling Qt application from MacOS
-
I built Qt application and made a installer with Qt framework installer.
- During installation on MacOS, the OS asked me the password for installation.
- Works above fine
- When I try to uninstall application with Maintenancetool I got the following message:
Error during unstallation process: Could not delere file /Users/UserName/Library/Application Support/ApplicationFolderName/: Operation not permitted
Meantime, the folder and its contents were deleted.
Please give your advises how to fix it -
@aliks-os Did you check Qt bug tracker to see whether this is a known issue? If it is not, then you can file a bug.

Hi,
Did you check the permission on that folder ?
Did you install Qt system wide ? -
@SGaist No, i didnot install Qt system wide. All Qt libs in the app container
I did not check the permissions on that folder, I suppose that should have the same rights of that users from which application was installed. -
In the app container ? What do you mean by that ?
Did you check the user permissions ? -
@SGaist yes, I mean in app container.
the rigths on folder is
drwxr-xr-x 4 userName staff -
I just realized I misunderstood your issue.
I thought you had trouble uninstalling Qt.
Might be a silly question but was that folder created at some point ?
