Solved Project ERROR: Cannot run compiler
-
Updated from 5.9 to 5.13
Project ERROR: Cannot run compiler '/Developer/Applications/Apple/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang++'. Output:
The path: /Developer/Applications/Apple/Xcode does not exist.
XCode is currently installed here: /Applications/Xcode
I cannot find where to change it in Qt Creator. Is this something that is established at Qt install and is not configurable in Creator?

Hi,
Are you using a pre-built binary ?
Did you delete the build folder of your application ?
What version of Xcode are you using ? -

I would think so as I didn't compile anything after the download.Downloaded thru my Qt Enterprise account
qt-unified-mac-x64-3.1.1-online.dmgQt Creator 4.9.2
Based on Qt 5.12.4 (Clang 10.0 (Apple), 64 bit)
Built on Jun 26 2019 11:30:44
From revision 8181363fa9MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6
What version of Xcode are you using ?
Xcode Version 10.1 (10B61)
Did you delete the build folder of your application ?
I will try this.

Thanks!
Tried the above. That cleared the path to compiler issue.
Curious as to why this would work. Are there hidden config files Qt uses in the build folder?
