@gusain It looks like you're using a quite old Linux distribution.
What exact distribution are you using?
What is the version of glibc on your system?

@jsulm Yes, you are right, I'm using very old distribution (CentOS 6.10) and I'm not authorized to upgrade. Glibc version is 2.12
Can I manually install it so that I can configure path of dependent libraries QtCreator needs ?

          @gusain I see three possibilities:

          1. Use QtCreator provided by your distribution (will be quite old)
          2. Try to install an older QtCreator version
          3. Build QtCreator by yourself

@jsulm I want to build QtCreator myself but I only see online installer in Downloads section. Am I missing something ? How do I get src tar-kit for QtCreator which I can use to build QtCreator manually ?

                      Hi
                      Seems like this
                      https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTCREATORBUG-20360
So fix might be to install qbs and set QBS_INSTALL_DIR.

Restarting build from clean src fixed this issue but QtCreator doesn't work.

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in ""
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: linuxfb, minimal, offscreen, vnc, webgl.

                        Abort

Are you starting Qt Creator from the command line ?
With what version of Qt did you build it ?
Start it with the QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS environment variable set to 1. It should give you more information about what is happening.

Did you build that version of Qt yourself ?
