Is QML Video still broken for iOS?

Hello,

I am just trying to find out whether QML Video is still broken for iOS?

I know that it wasn't supported in recent versions of Qt and I am just hoping that support will be added at some point, hopefully soon, as I am developing an App in QML and I don't want to redesign the App just for iOS.

If anyone knows something that would be great!

As far as I understand Qt 5.5 will bring some good news in this area, some patches have recently been merged. For older version (<= 5.4) support is simply missing.
