Humm... the BLE knowledge is coming, my experience/observations so far with BLE SW stacks is that everybody (QT, Zephyr and BlueZ community) is implementing something but only the BLE HW providers like Nordic provide a complete solution to all our requirements. But there SW stack is not Open... :), being proprietary ...
Especially security implementations is lacking in some providers of a BLE SW stack.I have been working with the QT framework since 2000 and love it, so when I saw QT offered a BLE framework I was trilled, ...., unfortunately when starting to use it I missed a few important features that are absolute requried for our implementation.
Also the BlueZ API is far from complete and easy to use.... the least one can say.
Anyhow I will manage... we always do SW guys. I still hope with the fast growing BLE applications QT will come up with the necessary support.

I had the same with the CAN bus implementation in 2016. And guess what I did? I contributed the needed fixes myself. I had not done much patches for Qt until then (only for QtCreator), but it was really fun to see the module getting in shape.
What I want to tell you: If you need something, then either do it yourself or convince someone to do it. Votes are not enough.

Thanks, good advice, we will see. For the moment making different scenario's , time and thus money are the main constraints as well :).
