      @davecotter please show the details of Tools > Options > Kits for the Qt 5.12 Kit.

      Qt has to stay free or it will die.

          @aha_1980 note on mac it's not at "tools->options->Kits->Kits", it's at "Qt Creator->Preferences->Kits->Kits":

          @SGaist i have Xcode 9.4.1 but the OS keeps insisting i install command line tools for 10.14, (which i did) which may be related?

            @davecotter and can you select another compiler in this dialog? At least the gcc looks wrong

            Qt has to stay free or it will die.
