    I had Qt 5.9 installed on my macBook Pro, I want to install version 5.11. I've tried several times using the qt-unified-mac-x64-3.0.5-online application and its the same every time... I get a dialog informing me I need Xcode 8.2 or newer, I have Xcode 10 installed, so whats going wrong?

    Kind Regards,
    Sy

      Hi,

      Which exact version of Xcode do you have ? There's was already an update a coupe of days ago.
      Which version of 5.11 are you trying to install ?
      When exactly are you getting that dialog ?

        @SPlatten
        hi,
        my guess would be, that you have multiple Xcode command line tools installed.

        AFAIK you can selecet the current/default one from Xcode itself

        Preferences -> Locations -> Command Line Tools

        Q: What's that?
        A: It's blue light.
        Q: What does it do?
        A: It turns blue.

                @SGaist Thanks for reply. I had tried this but not able build my code using qmake. Actually I use Xcode instead of QT Creator .

                  Then open a new thread explaining exactly what is happening and what your installation is.
