Re: How to use C code in qt?

    Dear Friends

I am confused to link C driver code and QT GUI application code.

What I, need is I want to display some raw data in QT5 application GUI that raw data comes from C driver code in ubuntu 16.04 LTS

    For Example

My C Driver Source code continuously sends the RAW data 500 samples in a sec. I want to display it to QT mainwindow is that possible? serial UART protocol is used in my C Driver code baud rate is 9000 bps

I have read above the previous post that states that use D-bus and IPC protocol to link another service or application in QT.

But I am intermediate QT software developer so some help me to link
C Driver code to QT GUI Application, Give me a code snippet or suggestion to achieve my work

    Thanks

      @vivekyuvan Take a look at http://doc.qt.io/qtcreator/creator-project-qmake-libraries.html

        Hi
The " C driver code" you talk about.
Is that a library or just .c and .h files ?
You can easy add .c files to a Qt project but im not sure
if the code you talk about is actually a device driver and would not be able to function
        linked into a Qt program.

Hi@mrjj Is that a library or just .c and .h files? it's not just .c and .h files,

I like to implement frontend alone in qt and backend is in C. The backend code was written in C its best to keep the code in C because its a driver code. so now my concern is can I communicate my driver code with frontend QT GUI?

I just read out QDBUS Interprocess communication protocol it suits my application logic?

Please give me any suggestion and show me the code snippet that will helpful

          Thanks
          vivek

@vivekyuvan Please do not post same question several times: https://forum.qt.io/topic/7872/how-to-use-c-code-in-qt
            " it's not just .c and .h files" - what else?
