Bluetooth SPP UUID from 128bit to 16bit
-
When I am creating a QBluetoothUuid with the baseUuid of SSP as uuid which is 128bit it still tells me the minimumSize of the uuid is 16bit which is what will appear in the sdp data. So the following code will reply with 16 bit:
static const QLatin1String testUuid("00001101-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB"); qDebug() << "length: " << QBluetoothUuid(testUuid).minimumSize();
And when I change the uuid just a little bit it tells me the uuid is indeed 128bit as what I entered. Is this done on purpose or should I just get the 128bit back also for the baseUuid? I couldn't find any information about this abbreviation in the sdp protocol documentation.
