Android Qt 5.3.2 fullscreen screen size reports incorrectly on kitkat and lollipop

In our Android App, after showing in fullscreen mode, the resolution reported by
primaryScreen.size() does not take into account the home button bar height.
The menu bar now now slides in and out when needed, over the top of my app.I noticed that the region no longer is white (previous issue), but is there a way that I can find the size of the home button menu region?
