How can I use Xcode with Qt5.4?
-
I'd like to use Xcode 6.0 with Qt 5.4. I hoping this will help me debug some issue that I a cannot resolve with QtCreator.
I see there is some help, but none of it complete. The furthest I have got is that it only works with the Enterprise version.
Thx

Hi,
What do you mean with enterprise edition ?
Unless something has changed, you should only need to generate a Xcode project from your pro file and then open it in Xcode

RE: http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/49003/#200914
I know this is 4.8, but we recently moved our project to 5.x so things maybe different these days
I have tried the
qmake -spec macx-xcode qgroundcontrol.pro
But i get the error
make: *** No rule to make target
/Users/bonney/dev_src_offline/apm_planner/build-release/rcc/qrc_mapresources.cpp', needed by
compilers'. Stop. You can try it on the source which is available at
https://github.com/diydrones/apm_planner
Any help appreciated, or just links to docs that offer some detail in how it all fits together.
Thx.
[PS: Enterprise, I mean Commercial, but these days that is not so obvious http://www.qt.io/download/ ]

@SGaist: Do you have anything to suggest that can help me fix this issue? Thx

Sadly not yet

Maybe you can help with this build issue http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/49203/
I'm trying to resolve an issue I have with QtSerialPort causing a crash, but I need to be able to debug into Qt (platform OSX 10.10) but I'm stuck with getting build I can use the debugger.
Any help appreciated (it should lead to a critical fix in Qt :-) )
