QML Only in Mobile Development[SOLVED]
-
Guys,
I am new here. I just wanted to examine the mobile development process and benefits of Qt. I have created and run a basic project for android. It was quite successful for me so far. I have found the framework clear and enjoyable enough. However, I have a question which is really unclear its answer for me.
In the basic hello world example project, the whole functionality and specifics are set by the qml structure.
Like :@ menuBar: MenuBar {
Menu {
title: qsTr("File")
MenuItem {
text: qsTr("&Open")
onTriggered: console.log("Open action triggered");
}
MenuItem {
text: qsTr("Exit")
onTriggered: Qt.quit();
}
}
}@I wonder that if it is possible to implement the same code in C++ only and how?
EDIT:
Of course, we can! I have found out how to do in a basic way. I am sorry for this silly question. If I can figure out how to remove this post, I will. -
You cannot use "Qt Quick Scene Graph":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/qtquick-visualcanvas-scenegraph.html if you do not use QML.
Therefore you need to think whether you are able to accept performance loss.
