    Hi all,
I am trying to run an application on Qt creator(QT 5.6.1). I am getting the following error : Cannot run "git rev-parse --git-dir /home/user/Documents" when i open the project in Qt creator.
Can anyone please guide me in resolving this issue.

    Thank you.

      Hi,

What exact version of Qt Creator are you using ?
Do you have git installed ?
Is that project managed with git ?

@sapna 5.6.1 is the Qt version @SGaist asked which version of QtCreator you're using.
Can you explain what you mean by "run an application"? Do you mean you're trying to open the project? Build it? Execute it?
