I would like to debug an application on an Android phone. When I run the program in debug mode, I get the error message :

Remote communication error. Target disconnected. Connection reset by the respondent.

    I'm using qt 5.11 and qtcreator 4.6

What can I do about it?

    Thanx!

I've seen reports of debugging problems with 5.11 beta and just yesterday noticed that debugging on the the release version doesn't work (I will not study it more than that, as it also has critical bug on QSettings). So, an easy fix for you also could be installing 10.1 or reverting to whatever previous version you have - and waiting for 11.1 to try again.

        thanks !

I just tested with qt 5.10.1 but I still get the same error message. The server libgdbserver.so is in the apk file and the server starts well on the phone...
