Detect calls and headphone changes in Android

Hi,
I am porting a media and audio book player for Android.
On Nokia N9 and Jolla the QMediaPlayer is paused when a call is received or when the headphones are unplugged. This is not how it works on Android and Qt 5.3.1.
Detecting this my self should not be a problem but I have no clue. Anyone that can point me in the right direction?
I am using the C++ player and not the QML player. If this is of importance please let me know.
