Tutorial request - How to create a barebones Wayland window manager for Linux

If there is anyone out there who knows how to pull this off with Qt, I would love for you to reply to this or make a page on your blog on how to do it.
After a ton of time on Google, this is the very best I've seen:

I'm hoping this tutorial would cover simple communication with the OS, how to build the Qt project, install it as your window manager, and open programs like your file manager or a web browser. I know it's a tall order, but I can't find any good info on this topic.
