Qtcreator, how to add new kit for embedded, imx6, linaro platform

i am following the link

sysroot: where the device image is located.
before or after? the reason i am building Qtcreator is to create image

Qt mkspec field, specify build instructions for qmake.
In Qt Version, i install qmake (/opt/Qt5.3.0/5.3/gcc/bin/qmake)
and my understanding it is fixed. how/where to specify build instructions.

My imx6, sabrelite is embedded, under Devices, i should add and select Generic Linux Device? What is the difference
