I have a question regarding combining the newest Qt Creator version 4.5 with a Qt 4.8.6 installation. I've read here in the forum that this is possible. Can someone tell me how I must configure Qt Creator to use Qt 4.8.6?
Add Qt version in Tools->Options->Build&Run->Qt. Then add a toolkit for it in "Kits" tab. That should be enough.

On a side note, Qt 4.8.7 is the latest and last of the Qt 4 series.
