QtCreator 4.3.0 and Ubuntu global menu

The latest QtCreator (4.3.0) no longer uses Ubuntu's global menu. What happened? Is there a way to get it working again?

I believe it was 4.2.2. It was the released version right before 4.3.0.

Wonder if it's related to QTCREATORBUG-6914 or if something else changed in the way unity handles that menu.

There has been several issues with the Ubuntu Global Menu (most important [1]), thats why we decided to remove it for Creator 4.3.0 as workaround.

To get it working again, you need to remove the lines added by [2] and compile Creator yourself.
