Hang when trying to install my application into a protected directory on Cent OS 7

I am using the QT Installer Framework.

What happens is the installer brings up the sudo password dialog however after that it just hands and needs to be killed.

Is there anything I am doing wrong?

you can try to start the installer framework itself with sudo.

@John-Owens You should check the Qt bug tracker to see whether this is a known issue.
Also, if you start the installer from a terminal - do you see any warnings/errors?
